Rules of the Algerian Patience Game

The Algerian Solitaire is a well-liked card game which allows you to not only have a good time, but also improve your thinking and memory.

The goal of the game is to sort two decks by suit (Ace to King and King to Ace) on the top eight bases.

Course of the Game

• The playing field is visually divided into three parts: eight empty, eight playing and six reserve cells.
• The empty bases at the top are also divided into two sections: left and right. Onto the ones on the right, you have to place the Kings of all the four suits. And then collect cards of the same suit onto them in descending order (King, Queen, Jack and so on). And onto those on the left, you have to put all the Aces onto which you can place cards of the same suit, but now in ascending order (Ace, six, seven, eight and so on).
• The system initially distributes a total of 12 face-up cards to the eight game slots in the center: the first four — 2 cards to each, the remaining four — 1 card to each. Here it is allowed to drag onto each card only a card of the same suit one step higher or lower.
• It is important to keep in mind that in this version of solitaire you can drag only the top card.
• In case there are no cards left to move in the game slots, you can pick up one at a time from the six reserve slots below.
• Click on the deck in the upper left corner to lay out new cards.
