Rules of the 3 Card Klondike Solitaire game

The difficult variant of the Klondike solitaire is barely different from the easy one in terms of the concept of the game. The only difference is that three cards at a time are dealt from the deck instead of one, thus allowing a situation where the needed card is blocked by the previous ones. In this case you have to calculate correctly the number of cards to remove so that during the next round of dealing from the reserve deck the needed card was available.

The aim of the gameis to collect all the cards (from the lowest to the highest) by suit to the bases in the right upper corner.

The course of the game

• In the beginning of each game the cards are allocated by the system. The very first pile automatically features only one card and the next six piles are added one card more than the previous one. This results in 1 card in the first pile, 2 cards in the second, 3 cards in the third, 4 cards in the fourth, 5 cards in the fifth, 6 cards in the sixth and 7 cards in the seventh. Altogether there are 28 cards in 7 piles in the bottom of the field.
• All the cards except for the top ones are placed face down.
• The other 24 cards are considered reserve. They are compiled in a separate pile placed in the upper corner of the screen . At pressing this pile during the game the player is given three cards at a time.
• In the top of the field there are also four blank cells onto which the player has to collect all the cards in an ascending order. The Ace is the starting card.
• In the seven piles in the bottom of the field the player can place the lower card onto the higher-ranking one. Here one card can be covered by a card of the other color and lower rank only: the six of diamonds on the seven of spades, the Jack of hearts on the Queen of clubs.
• The descending sequence of cards with color alternation can also be dragged.

Final

The game is over only when all the cards (from the lowest to the highest) are allocated by their homes. ×
